Title: Human Resource Co-Ordinator Position: Full Time Position Scope Reporting to the CEO and will be responsible for all aspects of human resources functions. This position forms an integral part to the administration department. Strong personable skills along with attention to detail are required. Duties will be performed in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Standards, Policies and Procedures of Villa Acadienne Inc. Villa Acadienne Inc. is committed to resident safety, continued quality improvement, and advancing the delivery of safe and trusted health services
Responsibilities
- Management of the WCB program – coordination of claims/liaison between organization and WCB with monthly reports to the CEO. Also is the WCB online site administrator.
- Management of the LTD program including being the liaison with HANS and Manulife.
- Maintains all employee records including filing in a timely manner and maintains confidentiality of all staff information.
- Responsible for running HR reports in SSC such as Staff Listings, Wage Progression, Employee Turnover, etc.
- Assist in the recruiting when required ensuring we have core staffing
- Tracks performance appraisals which are completed for each program yearly. Reports these results to the CEO.
- Liaison between Villa Acadienne and the union that represent the employees (as required by management) including running the Seniority Reports each year.
- Assisting new employees with the completion of hire package documents and submit the completed documents to payroll for processing.
- Maintenance of employee HR files including filing in a timely manner.
- Management of the Employee Orientation Program
- Responsible for setting staff up time clocks and producing their ID badges.
- Supports Payroll with letters to former employees when preparing for Retro adjustments.
- Support Management and Staff on employment issues
- Post all job posting on various websites
- Provide exit interviews to employees and compile data once returned reports directly to the CEO
- Oversees the Attendance Management Program and sends the CEO monthly reports.
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
- Provides reports as requested by the CEO including a monthly Board report
- Reports to the CEO on any investigations being carried out to ensure any risks are identified.
- Human Resource designation preferred but all relevant experience will be considered.
