Responsibilities Reports To Shift Coordinator, Printing Supervisor
Job Summary The Assembly Line Operator will work a schedule of Production and Printing departments and will report to either the Shift Coordinator or Printing Supervisor depending on schedule. The Operator will be responsible for ensuring that product appears acceptable and monitors for any visual defects during production or printing stages and placing into proper packaging. This position will ensure compliance with company policies and standards for quality, safety, HACCP and food defense. The Assembly Line Operator must possess some high school and ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Job Duties
- Ensure accurate completion and information of "reject sheets" (whiteboard information, times, box/pallet time, etc)
- Ensure automation equipment is stocked with handles and replenish as needed
- Manually install product attachments as required
- Closely monitor and inspect product, as per company procedure, for signs of problems and place into proper packaging
- Utilize "help button" for any machine or product/station issues or if you are required to leave your machine
- Check and change denesting stack
- Accurately complete label and printing processes for boxes and pallets
- Pass, feed and retrieve product from printing presses
- Clean color heads
- Remove handles and count rejects (printing department)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for quality, safety, HACCP and food defence
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times
- Other duties as required
Qualifications Job Requirements
- Some high school
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift up to 23lbs, walk, and stand for long periods of time

- High noise levels
- Extended periods of standing, repetitive work and other physically demanding conditions
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 10 kilograms
