Job Summary

As a member of the Terrain Park team, you are responsible for the safe daily maintenance, inspection, and presentation of terrain park features. This guest-facing role involves enforcing safety policies, documenting all feature-related work, assisting with special events, and maintaining a visible and approachable presence in the park. You play a key part in ensuring a fun, functional, and safe terrain park experience—helping to uphold our promise to our guests: toCreate an inclusive experience united by adventure, empowered by community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Open and close terrain park features daily; document all activity in the terrain park logbook
  • Maintain fencing, signage, park boundaries, and safety zones
  • Complete feature maintenance such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and reshaping as required
  • Monitor the park throughout your shift to enforce rules and engage with riders
  • Document feature status, maintenance, and adjustments clearly and accurately
  • Only test features when authorized by the Terrain Park Supervisor
  • Assist Ski Patrol with guest incidents and investigations in the park when needed
  • Support setup, tear down, and safety operations during special events
  • Act as a visible, approachable presence—providing information and positive interactions with guests
  • Implement emergency procedures as needed, including alerting Ski Patrol
  • Follow all company and departmental policies, including proper radio use
  • Maintain a professional appearance and practice safe work procedures at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience an asset but not required- training provided for all Terrain Park Attendants
  • Must be intermediate to advanced in experience and able to test features in the park
  • Must demonstrate good judgment, situational awareness, and strong safety instincts
  • Physically capable of sustained outdoor work, including shoveling and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Able to work outdoors in a mountain environment for extended periods
  • Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage high guest volumes with professionalism and patience
  • Willingness to support other departments during peak periods or as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable
  • Cross-departmental support and snow removal responsibilities are part of all Outdoor Operations roles
