Job Description Main Responsibilities: Lockwire technicians will be responsible for lock wiring of aircraft fuel, oil, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems. Following instructions based on maintenance of aircraft components as per Transport Canada and the Federal Aviation Authority. Specific training on lock wiring components will be provided.
Duties
- Ability to read and understand Component Maintenance Manuals
- Ability to read Service Bulletins and other associated data pertaining to maintenance
- Ability to meet or exceed target completion times
Wages $20 - $22 an hour
Benefits Available after six months probation
Required Skills
- Must have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Experience and knowledge of working on small engines an asset
- Aerospace background preferred and would be an asset
- Minimum grade 12
- Electromechanical, or small engine repair training

Action Aero specializes in the overhaul and repair of fuel, oil, and air-related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PW100, LF 502/507, PT6T, JT15D, and RR250 engines.
Some of the more common components are Fuel Controls, Fuel Nozzles, Fuel Pumps, Flow Dividers, Valves, Tank Ejectors as well as Overspeed & Turboprop Governors.
Action Aero supports numerous aircraft such as ATR, BAE, Beech, Bell, de Havilland, Cessna, Embraer, etc. Our customers include regional air carriers, major engine overhaul shops, distributors, and corporate fleets in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Action Aero supports a standard turn time of 5 to 8 working days but also supports same-day service when required.
