MARKETING SPECIALIST
Full Time
Salary Range $57,280 - $67,580
Placement within the hiring range is based on skills and experience

Do you have a passion for working in a fast paced and dynamic department that works as a team? The Marketing Specialist is responsible to lead the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve the organizational goals. Working with key stakeholders, they lead the development and management of advertising, media placements, sponsorship opportunities, and building new partnerships. Responsible to develop and manage new project initiatives from conceptualization to implementation.
The job involves:
- Lead the development of campaigns and marketing programs through clearly defined goals, objectives, targets, marketing mediums, creative direction and performance metrics
- Lead marketing initiatives through project management, KPIs, forecasting and delivering on ROI
- Consult with key stakeholders and program managers to develop and implement comprehensive programs and marketing plans that align with department plans
- Expertly lead internal and external teams by providing clear briefs and effective feedback, and inspiring partners to develop new and innovative assets to convey brand messages
- Build, develop and lead key partnerships, sponsorship, third-parties through prospecting, relationship building, reporting and presentations
- Tracking and analyzing the marketing budget to ensure that proper spend, forecasting, reconciling, and allocating of expenditures are aligned
- Conceptualizing and developing brand strategies, ensuring brand integrity and manage brand assets
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- University Degree or College diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of Marketing experience
- Experience working within, or managing, creative and media agencies preferred
- Attention to detail and exceptional project and time management, creative thinker, strong abilities to develop excellent consumer experiences
- Excellent written communication skills, Strong editing skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) an asset
