Role Description The Junior Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. This role supports the sales cycle by finding and qualifying leads, scheduling and attending client meetings, and assisting in preparing quotes and proposals for security and automation solutions.
The Junior Account Executive will maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients, respond to inquiries, and help ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Day-to-day activities include prospecting, updating CRM records, coordinating with technical and installation teams, and tracking opportunities and follow-ups.
This role also involves learning product offerings, participating in product demonstrations, and contributing to sales campaigns and local marketing initiatives.
Qualifications Foundational sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and basic negotiation, with a strong interest in account management. Client relationship capabilities such as clear communication, active listening, and professionalism in both in-person and written interactions. Organizational and administrative skills, including time management, accurate record-keeping in CRM tools, and attention to detail in proposals and documentation. Willingness to learn about security, surveillance, and automation products, including how systems are configured and installed. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, installation, and support) to deliver a consistent client experience. Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify client needs and coordinate appropriate solutions with senior team members. High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability, with a commitment to providing respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory service to all clients. Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Prior experience in sales, customer service, or account coordination is an asset, especially in technology, telecom, or security-related industries. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within Alberta for client visits and site meetings, as required. Travel within Canada occassionally.
