The opportunity: your next adventure awaits
EY-Parthenon is one of the largest global strategy consulting organizations, with 25,000+ professionals. EY-Parthenon is Ernst & Young's global strategy consulting arm. We help CEOs and business leaders design and deliver transformative strategies across the entire enterprise, to help build long-term value to all stakeholders.
Our infrastructure advisory team is a specialty sub-practice of EY-P. The team is trusted by public sector ministries and agencies, as well as by private sector companies, for its expertise in infrastructure strategy, financing, structuring, modeling and management of procurement and delivery processes. We advise through the full lifecycle of core infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships across Canada and globally. We advise across asset classes including transportation (e.g., transit, highways, airports), healthcare, environmental (e.g., waste), energy, mining, social infrastructure, schools, and municipal facilities.
Building, operating, and maintaining an asset is all about making intelligent decisions, powered by accurate information. As an Infrastructure Advisory Co-op, you’ll help make that happen. You will be an important part of our diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions and projects. When you join our industry-leading team, you’ll be right at the heart of that challenge, working with leading business tools and methodologies to provide professional services to some of the most sophisticated clients around.
As a Co-op, you will work closely with other members of the national Infrastructure Advisory team to execute a variety of engagements related to the planning, development, delivery, and operations of major infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating draft reports and presentations for client meetings, articulating complex analyses in a clear manner. In addition, your role will require both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including the development of project finance models and conducting research on accounting, tax, and financial market information for use in modeling, scenario analysis, and negotiation support. You will also assist with drafting proposals and gain knowledge of the infrastructure sector, its capital markets, and supply chains.
As we are client facing, we expect our Co-ops to demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment. To maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and to develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Co-ops should be informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client's business and collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities for the project.
