HOURS OF WORK: 75 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD

POSTING DATE: 20 November 2025

WAGE RANGE: $33.795 to $39.747 PER HOUR

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health & Safety, the incumbent will provide assistance to the Occupational Health and Safety Department. Responsibilities will include: providing administrative support in a team-focused environment, maintaining an efficient and confidential record keeping system, arranging meetings, providing support to the Occupational Health and Safety Department and to the Joint Health and Safety Committees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

o Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Office Administration field

o 2-3 years' experience in an Administrative role or in Occupational Health & Safety

o Experience using Parklane software preferred

o Demonstrated proficiency in minute-taking

o Advanced computer expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Access and required

o Knowledge of process for conferencing calls, room booking, catering and article/information research

o Ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities and deadlines

o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinaryteam

o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

o Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset

o Consistent and regular attendance required
