Client Service Specialist - 18 Month Contract
How does the role impact the organization? Aspira Wealth of Raymond James Ltd. is looking for a Client Service Specialist that is committed to personal growth and capable of delivering exceptional service to our clients. Located in Victoria, BC, Aspira develops and implements comprehensive wealth management solutions to help their clients live out their greatest aspirations. We are known for our client first, then team, then self, ethos. We don’t swing for the fences, we do commit and we do get things done. We are guided by our agreed expectations: work as a team and log the details, show up on time fully prepared, do what you say and hold one another to account, measure what is important and recognize that important things are not always measurable, say please and thank you – good morning and goodnight. The successful candidate may qualify for a flexible workstyle – that said, we are biased to an in-office culture. The position is dynamic and straddles the client service and administration spheres. What will your role be responsible for? Prepare, distribute and process client documentation (most of it is digital); Receive and direct incoming telephone calls; Respond to and follow up on inquiries from clients and co-workers; Handle day-to-day requests; such as EFTs, transferring funds between accounts and wire transfers.
Administer and prepare investment performance and tax

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess
A post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of experience and education; Investment Representative (IR) licensing, including the successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook, is required; or a willingness to pursue the IR Licensing within 12 months of joining Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint – MS Office certification is an asset; Proficiency with Adobe - editing, merging, comments, e signatures Proficiency with Docusign Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail and the tenacity to get things done. Most of all, you must bring a positive attitude and genuine commitment to serve. At Aspira, autonomy grows with experience and responsibility, as does remuneration. Quarterly socials and an annual team trip are part of the fabric. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in the Aspira in-house revenue sharing plan.
