We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Sr Manager Digital Solution Testing that oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of testing activities across digital solutions to ensure software and infrastructure components meet defined requirements, system designs, and quality standards. This role is accountable for monitoring test case design and execution, with a strong emphasis on automation strategy and performance testing practices. The Senior Manager provides technical leadership and mentorship to the Quality Control team, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning. The role also ensures alignment of testing efforts with business goals and collaborates across teams to drive efficient and effective quality assurance processes.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director Digital Solution Testing, you will be empowered to:
- Oversees the design, preparation, and execution of all testing phases to ensure software and infrastructure components meet defined requirements, system designs, and quality standards.
- Leads the execution of the Master Test Plan ensuring coordination of all efforts of internal testing teams, vendor test teams and relevant business stakeholders
- Leads automation strategy and provides oversight to automation delivery across the Digital division; coaches and guides team members with respect to the quality measures, and coordinate QA-related communication across all cross-functional teams.
- Analyzes and verifies testing requirements including test plans developed by service providers for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and conformity to standards and provides recommendations for changes or approval to ensure quality testing
- Develops and delivers test strategies, test plans, test phases and test scripts for all OLG projects and work packages, as applicable, to ensure effective implementation of all changes to the production environment
- Collaborates with business testing teams to ensure alignment of User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and avoiding unnecessary overlap of testing efforts
- Identifies and defines appropriate tests, writes and executes test scripts, analyses and documents interim and final test results including ensuring the testing environment and test data is ready and correct for the planned tests, and recommends solutions for any identified problems
- Performs compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs: monitors post-implementation program performance to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and improve overall operational efficiency
- Supports the various solution configuration/development activities including the development/configuration of new solutions, changes to existing systems. prototyping/proof of concept development, Unit testing and technical fixes during subsequent testing, development & configuration of integrations to ensure alignment to quality control standards
- Implements and monitor quality metrics, measurement and quality improvement initiatives in order to achieve or exceed baseline performance targets, including reviewing and monitoring deliverables of Managed Testing Services vendors ensuring that testing deliverables and software quality provided adhere to contractual obligations and quality metrics
- Provide technical operational expertise for review and utilization of test plan; implements additions and changes as planned to meet project timelines
- Engages with Technology and Operations teams to align the best practices and emerging trends in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Lead and provide overall direction to the Digital QA function, including defining team member roles, responsibilities, and expectations; direct work and provide timely coaching and performance feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: · Minimum of six (6) years’ progressive experience in medium to large Technology environments · Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Quality Control · Providing Subject Matter Expertise and/or guidance to the team
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead QA professionals, fostering growth in technical skills, agile practices, and quality mindset.
Education: · Post-secondary degree, preferably in information systems and/or business administration discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices as they relate to automated testing.
