Location: Calgary, Alberta
Job Description We are looking for a Part-time Inventory Control Administrator to join our team at our Calgary Distribution Center for our Days and Afternoon shift. Looking to join an energetic and dynamic warehouse team? Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies for Bosley's, Tisol, and Total Pet, is looking for candidates like you!
What are we looking for? Education
- High School
Experience
- Solid ability to perform various functions in a Warehouse environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Comfortable lifting products up to 50lbs each
- RF experience is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable Administrative, Clerk or Coordinator role
What You Will Be Doing
- Punctual attendance and arrival on shift as schedule ready to work
- Attend crew meetings and communication sessions as required
- Participate in stretch program
- Adhere to all external and internal policies and procures as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Quality Control checks and Audits
- Fill Rate sustainment
- 3PL reconciliation and resolutions
- Outbound shorts monitoring and live adjustments as required
- Process Returns and Damages
- Perform inventory adjustments as authorized to correct inventory
- New product and Discontinued product set ups and slotting
- Cycle counting and trend analysis on related shrink
- Control expiry date items to ensure quality and saleability
- Review and respond to internal emails and requests for corrective actions
- Participate in Annual Physical Counts when applicable
- Meet all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as per established schedule and deadlines
- Perform other duties as required
