About You:
- You’re a high-energy client success professional with experience engaging startups, scale-ups, and creative agencies.
- You have a strong grasp of hiring needs across design, engineering, video, marketing, and other creative disciplines.
- You stay on top of the latest tools and trends in the creative and builder ecosystems.
- You excel at uncovering client needs and clearly communicating how Contra can power their talent strategy.
- You’re proactive, organized, and skilled at juggling multiple conversations across clients and freelancers.
- Based in Toronto, Canada.
You will own:
- Managing all client interactions, including proactive outreach and reactive support (email, Slack, etc.)
- Matching clients with freelancers based on job posts, inquiries, and ad hoc requests
- Reviewing all posts and inquiries to uncover hiring needs
- Identifying top-spending and high-potential clients, and finding creative ways to engage them
- Taking calls (phone and video) and sending Looms to streamline the client–freelancer matchmaking process
- Nudging freelancers to respond to clients, share feedback, and increase successful matches
- Driving companies and agencies to complete paid projects through ongoing outreach, relationship-building, and creative tactics

Total Comp:
- Salary: $60,000 CAD
- Extended health + dental benefits

- Interview with Hiring Manager (40 minutes)
- Paid Case Study + Presentation (60 minutes)
- Interview with Ben Huffman, CEO & Co-Founder (30 minutes)
