About the role

Position: Sales Representative – F&B / Wholesale (Tea / Food / Beverages)

Location: Toronto, Canada Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Territory: Canada Compensation: US $4,500–5,500/month (commensurate with experience) + Commission + annual leave based on serve time Industry: Food & Beverage (Tea, Coffee, Beverage Ingredients, Wholesale)

Gui Tea is China’s largest matcha green tea manufacturer and exporter, producing ceremonial, beverage and culinary grades matcha, along with a wide range of matcha-related products. Our products serve major bubble-tea and coffee chains, catering businesses, bakeries and beverage factories worldwide. As we enter the North American market, we are looking for a dedicated Sales Representative to drive growth across Canada, building long-term partnerships and delivering tailored ingredient solutions to our clients.

What You Will Do

Lead business development in Canada — build and expand corporate clients in F&B, catering, bakery and beverage manufacturing industries. Introduce and wholesale Gui Tea’s product range; coordinate custom orders and tailor solutions to client needs. Serve as first regional hire: design sales plans and budgets. Propose new product development ideas — spanning tea, food or beverages — in collaboration with our R&D team in China. Identify key customers, conduct regular visits, manage client relationships, address complaints or requests, and ensure long-term cooperation. Handle import/export operations as needed. Represent the company at relevant exhibitions, business negotiations, and large-scale project cooperation. Prepare periodic market development reports and present monthly sales performance updates to the Vice President overseeing overseas markets. Develop and execute business and marketing strategies to identify growth opportunities and achieve sustainable sales growth.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have

Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or related field. At least 5 years’ relevant experience in FMCG / F&B / Catering / Wholesale industries. Strong skills in market analysis, channel development and business negotiation. Strong track record in B2B business development, channel building and key account management. Business mindset, target-driven, able to thrive under pressure; flexible and willing to travel frequently as needed. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Preferred

Experience working with matcha, coffee, bubble-tea or food/beverage ingredient suppliers is a plus. Having an existing network or resources in F&B supply, coffee/bubble-tea chains, catering or bakery industries — able to bring your own sales contacts and clients. Prior wholesale or export experience. Ability to communicate in French is a plus.
