What will you do?

Are you a proactive and enthusiastic student looking to gain hands-on experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), customer service operations, and business analysis within a dynamic Siemens environment? Our team is seeking a Co-op Student to contribute to key projects and support our ongoing initiatives. This is a great opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and develop valuable professional skills!

Key Responsibilities will include:

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Support:

  • Collaborating with teams to understand product development topics
  • researching market information for products, programs, customer information

Customer Service Operations:

  • Contributing to the analysis of customer service processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Helping to document customer service procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Assisting with the preparation of materials for customer feedback sessions or internal training.

Report Template Creation & Standardization:

  • Designing and developing professional report templates using tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or other relevant software.
  • Working to standardize reporting formats to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of use across the team.
  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders to ensure templates meet their needs.

Spreadsheet Analysis & Data Visualization:

  • Performing data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using Microsoft Excel to support various business insights.
  • Creating compelling charts, graphs, and dashboards to visualize data trends and present findings clearly.
  • Assisting in the interpretation of data to support decision-making processes.

Presentation Content Creation:

  • Researching and compiling information to support the development of engaging presentation content.
  • Drafting slides, incorporating visual elements, and ensuring presentations are clear, concise, and impactful.
  • Collaborating with team members to refine presentation narratives and messaging for internal and external audiences.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Currently enrolled in a third-year relevant post-secondary program in Computer Science or Information Systems,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset.
