We are looking for a DevOps Technology Lead to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The DevOps Technology Lead will oversee the implementation and execution of cloud and DevOps practices within the organization, providing leadership and oversight to a team of DevOps Analysts and Cloud Ops Specialists.

Reporting to the Director, Cloud Infrastructure, other highlights include:

Oversee the entire CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes, providing leadership to team members.

  • Collaborate on decisions regarding infrastructure, tool selection, and process improvements, often influencing the overall IT strategy.

  • Act as a bridge between development, operations, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication across teams.

  • Manage a team of DevOps Analysts and Cloud Ops Specialists.

  • Provide senior-level expertise and act as escalation point on operational issues impacting SLA performance and customer delivery.

  • Lead the implementation of robust monitoring and observability frameworks to ensure application health, performance, and availability.

  • Recommend best practices for logging, metrics, and tracing to provide deep visibility into distributed systems.

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and reliability issues.

  • Establish automated alerting and incident response processes to minimize downtime and improve Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cloud waste, optimize infrastructure, and improve delivery speed.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent experience coupled with 7+ years of experience in progressive IT roles supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, hosting services, and cloud operations.

  • Certification in Azure, Cloud, or DevOps is an asset.

  • Extensive experience in cloud and DevOps, with a deep understanding of tools, technologies, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible); familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially Azure (AWS or Google Cloud an asset).

  • Experience managing complex multi-environment cloud operations with high SLA requirements.

  • Experience managing projects and mentoring junior team members.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability and security.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.

  • Ability to implement specific plans to assist in meeting revenue, growth and margin targets.

  • Ability to develop, mentor, and lead the team with skills, capacity, and support to achieve objectives.
