About the role

Hospital for Sick Children, Division of Endocrinology Effective February 1, 2026, the Department of Paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children, SickKids, 555 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario is recruiting for a full-time permanent faculty position - Academic Clinician or Clinician Investigator, in the Division of Endocrinology.

As one of the most active programs in North American, the Division of Endocrinology brings together significant interdisciplinary and inter-professional activities within General Endocrinology and Diabetes, along with specialty clinics such as Transgender Medicine, Obesity, Gynecology-Endocrinology, Multi-Disciplinary Urogenital, Late Effects Endocrine Oncology, Calcium and Bone Health. The Division of Endocrinology at the Hospital for Sick Children promotes these activities through seamless integration of research activities, academic performance, and exemplary clinical care. SickKids is an academic health sciences centre dedicated exclusively to health outcomes in paediatric children provincially, internationally and is affiliated with the University of Toronto.

The primary role of the successful applicant will include clinics in General Endocrinology, Diabetes and Transgender Medicine in addition to participation in the inpatient service and out-of-hours on call schedules for the Division. The role will also include participation in academic rounds, teaching and scholarly activity.

The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Rank and salary ($275,543 - $350,000.00 per annum) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be eligible for a benefit package which includes medical, dental, life insurance, long term disability insurance, group insurance, pension plan, vision care, academic allowance, and a relocation package

All candidates must be able to function proficiently in English, hold an MD, MBBS or the equivalent thereto and be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications. The successful candidate must have completed subspecialty training in Endocrinology and must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
