Our client, a recognized leader in the real estate and property management space, is seeking a Director of Finance to join their growing team and collaborate closely with their VP of Finance on a full-time, permanent basis! In this hands-on, strategic role, you will lead the financial operations of the property management division, including reporting, compliance, and entity setup, while providing insights to guide executive decision-making. Partnering closely with investors, external advisors, and senior leadership, you’ll ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and transparent. We’re seeking a polished, professional, and forward-thinking leader who can drive financial success and make a meaningful impact across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and presenting financial results across multiple entities, providing insights into portfolio performances and key metric
- sLeading budgeting and forecasting, cash flow projections and investor return analysi
- sOverseeing accounting operations and ensuring compliance with IFRS/ASPE and regulatory standard
- sManaging the setup, reporting, compliance and investor communications for REIT and LP structure
- sSupervising property revenue, expenses, and tenant chargebacks, aligning daily operations with investor reporting need
- sMentoring team members, leading process improvements, and acting as a key liaison with external partners and stakeholder
