Lead Strategic Change, Empower Transformation
and Drive Lasting Impact Across the Organization
(18 - 24-month Contract)
The Director, Change Management is responsible for leading the design and implementation of change management strategies that enable key organizational initiatives, cultural transformation, and operational improvements.
In this role you will report to the EVP, Chief People Officer, and will collaborate closely with senior leaders, people managers, and project teams to ensure change efforts are strategically planned, clearly communicated, and successfully adopted across the organization. Through a focus on employee engagement, capability-building, and sustained adoption, you will play a critical role in embedding a culture of agility, resilience, and continuous improvement, while ensuring long-term sustainability of change.
Your expertise empowers you to:
Strategically lead change: using a proven change management methodology, lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide change management strategies that support organizational transformation align with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
Identify and manage key stakeholders, ensure leadership alignment and active sponsorship. Coach senior leaders, project teams, and people managers to effectively lead and support change.
Integrate planning & execution: develop and implement comprehensive change plans, including communication, training, and engagement strategies that articulate the purpose, impact and benefits of change, promote adoption, minimize resistance, and build organizational capability. Facilitate a smooth transition to steady-state operations, embedding change into business processes and fostering a culture of agility, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally: work HR, Learning & Development, and Communications teams to align on and execute change initiatives that support talent strategies, workforce planning, and business-aligned messaging. Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to build trust and enhance collaboration.
Manage & measure risk: identify and address resistance, track risks and issues related to people readiness, and define success metrics. Use data-driven insights to assess change receptiveness and readiness, adjusting strategies for sustainability.
You are the ideal candidate if:
Education and Experience:
You bring a wealth of experience in change leadership, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. These include technology implementations, process improvements, and people-centric change efforts, as well as strategic and cultural transformations. You possess deep expertise in leveraging structured change management frameworks—such as Prosci, ADKAR, and Kotter—to drive stakeholder engagement, adoption, and long-term sustainability. You are skilled in defining success metrics, assessing organizational readiness, and using data to inform and adjust change strategies.
You have 8–10 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a regulatory or compliance-driven environment, including 3–5 years in a leadership capacity. You have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, or Project Management). One or more of the following certifications would be strongly preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Organizational Development Certification, Leadership Coaching Certification. A Master’s degree—such as an MBA, MA in Organizational Leadership, or MSc in Change Management, Strategic Management, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology—is preferred but not mandatory.
Results: You have expertise in applying structured change management methodologies to drive adoption, engagement, and sustainability. You are skilled in defining success metrics, assessing organizational readiness, and using data to inform and adjust change strategies.
Leadership: Youhave proven leadership and negotiation experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and are able to identify, manage and create plans for engagement with key internal and external stakeholders and partners to build alignment across diverse groups and coach teams through complex change.
Resilience: You have a proven ability to drive multiple projects forward with a relentless focus on delivery. You are able to navigate issues and gain support without adversely affecting timelines and outcomes.
Communications Skills: You are a strong communicator capable of synthesizing complex issues and conveying information to all levels of internal and external stakeholders, senior management teams and partners in a clear and concise manner. You serve effectively as the face of the organization.
Diplomacy, Interpersonal and Relationship Building Skills: You are effective in dealing fairly, frankly, assertively, and professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You generate consensus and sustain collaborative relationships while maintaining a positive image and profile for the organization. You have experience partnering collaboratively with HR, Communications, Learning & Development, and project teams to integrate change strategies across functions.
