Position Details
What You Will Do
⦁ Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application and systems support for our Roadside application and its integration points.
⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve incidents through the ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective business support
⦁ Test and deploy new enhancements as requested by the business and vendors
⦁ Create and update documentation for new and existing processes or procedures
⦁ Perform ongoing system maintenance and monitoring in adherence to service level agreements
⦁ Collaborate effectively with business users and IT teams
⦁ Work independently, continuously learning and exploring new technologies
⦁ Identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency
⦁ Ensure escalation procedures are followed and document all exceptions within your authority
⦁ Coordinate with external vendors to maintain system integrations
Who You Are
⦁ Post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field preferred
⦁ 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Linux, Java, Tomcat, and SQL
⦁ Experience supporting Roadside Dispatch or CRM systems; Roadside industry knowledge is an asset
⦁ Familiarity with Microsoft Server (2012/2016/2019) and Windows 10
⦁ Experience with tools such as Pingdom, Dynatrace, SCOM, and Twilio is an asset
⦁ Understanding of networks and networking components
⦁ Exposure to the full development lifecycle (requirements through to support) is an asset
⦁ Strong customer service skills and the ability to support internal stakeholders effectively
⦁ Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication skills
⦁ Experience interacting with vendors for technical support
⦁ Willingness to work on-call during evenings, weekends, or after hours
