We're Hiring: Senior Java Engineer (Architect / Technical Lead) – Agentic AI & R&D Innovation
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days/week onsite) 💼 Experience: 8+ Years
Join an innovation-driven R&D team building next-generation Agentic AI solutions. We're looking for highly experienced, hands-on Java Engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, evaluating emerging technologies, building proof-of-concepts, and delivering end-to-end solutions.
Mandatory Skills ✅ Java ✅ Spring Boot ✅ Microservices ✅ Software Design & Architecture ✅ GitHub Copilot and/or Claude ✅ Agentic AI / AI Agents / AI Workflows ✅ AI-assisted Software Development ✅ System Design
What You'll Do ✔ Design and develop scalable Java backend applications ✔ Build POCs and prototype innovative AI-driven solutions ✔ Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and AI tools ✔ Partner with product teams to develop beta products and services ✔ Leverage AI-powered coding tools to improve engineering productivity
We're Looking For 8+ years of hands-on Java backend development Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Experience with software architecture and end-to-end solution delivery Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, AI workflows, or AI-powered development tools Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment
