###About the Role
We are seeking aStrategy & Operations Associateto join ourTransportation Operationsteam. This is a high-impact, generalist role built for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and wants real ownership from day one.
Reporting to the Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be embedded in a small, high-performing S&O team where your contributions will be felt immediately. While this role spans the full breadth of strategy and operations, your initial focus will be squarely ongrowth and expansion— helping GoBolt enter new markets, build out new lines of business, and sharpen the commercial tools that fuel our next phase of scale. ###How You'll Make an Impact
Market Expansion & Growth
- Support the end-to-end launch of new markets across the US and Canada, including operational readiness, stakeholder coordination, and go-to-market execution.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, assess competitive dynamics, and inform expansion strategy.
- Help build scalable playbooks and frameworks that enable GoBolt to grow efficiently across new geographies.
New Lines of Business
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and launch new service offerings within the Transportation portfolio.
- Drive project workstreams from scoping through execution — defining milestones, tracking progress, and surfacing risks.
- Build business cases and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Pricing & Tooling
- Support the development and refinement of pricing strategies, including rate card design, competitive benchmarking, and margin analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models and P&L analyses to evaluate business performance and inform pricing decisions.
- Contribute to the design and build-out of internal tools and dashboards that improve how the S&O team operates and reports.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
Strategy & Operations Support
- Serve as a flexible resource across the S&O team, stepping into high-priority initiatives as business needs evolve.
- Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership presentations and operational reports.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose structured solutions that improve team performance.
###What You Bring to the Table
-You have 1–3 years of experiencein strategy, consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup environment — recent grads with strong internship track records are also encouraged to apply. -You're analytical and comfortable with data— you can structure a problem, build a model, and turn numbers into a clear story. Hands-on experience with Excel and PowerPoint is essential; familiarity with Looker or Tableau is a strong plus. -You have a bias for action— you don't wait to be told what to do next. You identify what needs to happen, move fast, and take full ownership of outcomes from start to finish. -You're a strong communicator— written, verbal, and visual. You can put together a tight deck and hold a room. -You're highly organizedand able to manage multiple workstreams at once without dropping the ball. -You're humble and eager to learn— you know you're early in your career and you're hungry to grow quickly.
Bonus Points:
- You have experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- You've worked in a startup or fast-scaling company where the playbook wasn't written yet.
- You have exposure to pricing strategy, financial modeling, or go-to-market planning.
