About the role

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $59,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

We are recruiting a dynamic, well-rounded Route Supervisor. The successful applicant to this position will coordinate and supervisor the activities of our route persons to ensure the highest standards in customer service, act as the primary contact between us and the client, and will have strong customer service skills.

Now, If You Were To Come Onboard As a Route Supervisor, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us

Schedule regular meetings with route drivers, and foster open lines of communication with direct reports; confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of the operation and attend regular staff meetings to keep informed and updated about current developments related to the business. Ensure the proper handling of perishable foods, inventory controls both in the field and trucks as well as analyzing financial reports to determine profitability and opportunities for improvement. Visit accounts and clients to maintain good relations and react to any comments, suggestions or concerns for the purpose of account retention; actively pursue pricing goals. This individual is the primary contact for Customer/Clients interaction. Perform account location inspections and machine audits to ensure company standards are met. Review daily and weekly route reports to ensure data integrity, control spoilage rates, monitor accuracy of machine collections and control labor costs; ensure quality, cleanliness, merchandising, plan-o-gram compliance, customer service and company policies and programs are maintained. Review service frequencies to assure maximum sales without jeopardizing customer satisfaction; schedules and modifies route structure to improve productivity and control overtime, as well as controlling employee scheduling so that employees are allowed their requested days off, and the operation has sufficient labor each day for service obligations.

At least 3-5 years Customer Account Management experience, with a post-secondary education degree or diploma. Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications and database management. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A good business acumen that enables you to quickly understand and deal with situations that lead to a favorable outcome. Ability to work well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines. Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement significant process improvements and following these through to successful implementation.
