Position Name – Capital Markets Business Analyst

Type of hiring – Fulltime Location – Toronto, ON (3 Days onsite/ Week)

Job Description

We are seeking a Capital Markets Business Analyst with strong experience in trading, investment banking, post-trade operations, and trade lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, Agile delivery, UAT support, and project coordination across business and technology teams.

Experience working on large-scale Capital Markets programs and using Jira for project planning and tracking is highly desirable.

Mandatory Skills

Experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets. Strong understanding of trading, investment banking, post-trade operations, and trade lifecycle. Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Experience collaborating with both business and technology stakeholders. Experience working in Agile environments. Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working on large-scale programs/projects. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including business users, developers, BAs, and Project Managers. Ability to facilitate collaboration across teams and drive alignment on solution approaches and project objectives. Experience with project planning and tracking using Jira.

Preferred Skills

Experience in large-scale Capital Markets transformation programs. Exposure to front-office, middle-office, and back-office business functions. Knowledge of trade processing, settlements, and regulatory reporting. Experience working in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments. Strong facilitation and change management capabilities.
