This role requires full time on site presence. Associate Producer Assigned to Live Video and Content Packaging (English Services) (Strong Internal Candidate) Your role CBC Manitoba has a full time opportunity working with our Current Affairs team as an associate producer assigned to Live Video and Content Packaging based in Winnipeg.
Reporting directly to the Producer Visual Content and Streaming, the Associate Producer position plays a critical role in helping create and distribute current affairs and news content to audiences on multiple visual platforms which would include our linear television broadcast, local FAST channels and social platforms. The role operates a software based mixing system during live programming and packages on demand content with Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- A passion, knowledge, and understanding of Manitoba and its diversity of communities.
- Understanding of audience needs and expectations for news and current affairs content.
- Excellent live program production skills, including operation of software mixing systems.
- Comfortable with the basics of audio and video signal flow in a studio environment.
- A solid foundation in video editing in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and varying tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to package and distribute content in digital spaces which includes video headlines, thumbnail creation and publishing.
- strong logic and problem-solving skills.
- a sense of curiosity about the workings of analog and digital systems - interest in expanding technical knowledge.
- Open to new ideas and approaches.
