##Operations Coordinator

We are currently seeking afull-time Operations Coordinatorto join our growing team.
The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting daily operational and financial processes across multiple divisions. This position requires a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working collaboratively with operational leaders, finance staff, and senior management. The successful candidate will be expected to multitask, manage competing priorities, and support construction projects as required.

###Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Coordinate daily communication with Site Supervisors, Foremen, drivers, and operational leadership regarding job status, scheduling, and resource requirements.- Assist in the planning and coordination of daily and next-day work schedules, including data entry into scheduling systems and dispatching crews and drivers as required.- Monitor operational schedules and proactively identify conflicts, delays, or resource gaps, and communicate recommended solutions to management in a timely manner.- Coordinate the movement and allocation of equipment and machinery between job sites, including working with float drivers and shop personnel to address breakdowns, defects, and equipment availability.- Support driver workforce administration activities including scheduling, dispatch coordination, vacation tracking, and verification of payroll-related information.- Assist with the recruitment, coordination, and communication of external trucking brokers and subcontracted resources as required to support operational needs.- Coordinate dump site logistics, including sourcing and maintaining an up-to-date list of approved dump locations and assisting with re-routing of trucks where required.- Provide administrative and customer service support, including responding to service line inquiries and assisting with concerns raised by clients or members of the public.- Support asphalt plant operations and material logistics, including coordination of aggregate deliveries where required.- Assist with operational administration for seasonal activities, including winter maintenance and snow operations support such as dispatch coordination, equipment logistics, and cost tracking.- Prepare, maintain, and organize operational records, reports, and documentation to support efficient workflow and decision-making.- Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Shop, Dispatch, and Management to support the effective delivery of projects and services.- Perform other duties, projects, or administrative tasks as may reasonably be assigned from time to time to support business operations.

###Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in an operations, construction administration, or finance support role considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such asJonasorQuickBooksis considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
