We’re hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Factory Optical - Regina East Landing - partners of solis optics, as an Optician! We have recently had new management take over Factory Optical in Saskatchewan and as part of this change are looking to expand our Optician team. In this role, you’ll help customers find their perfect fit in a fun, supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Make a meaningful impact on people’s lives - one frame at a time. This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Sunday. What You’ll Do Deliver exceptional customer service and educate customers on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring style, comfort, and optimal vision Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist Perform frame and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear, as well as repairs and adjustments Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties Guide customers in selecting eyewear that combines fashion with function Support day-to-day store operations and contribute to overall store success Assist with additional tasks as needed to keep the store running smoothly What You Bring Minimum one year of experience in an optical setting Registered Optician in Saskatchewan Proficient with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively How You'll Benefit Competitive wages and benefits with exceptional optical coverage Rapid and ongoing growth, providing a consistently challenging and rewarding environment A workplace culture that fosters collaboration and teamwork Continuous training and development opportunities to support your career growth Why You Should Join Us solis optics, a division of FYihealth group, is your neighborhood retail optical shop, offering quality eyewear and experience to match. In 2008, our first group of FYidoctors clinics were formed out of desire to bring excellent, affordable optometric care to our communities. We were united by a passion for collaborative, cutting edge eye care.

New technology, shared information, services, buying power that enhanced our financial position — everything flowed back to the care and attention we could give to everyone who came through our doors, and the people who kept the lights on.
While our roots are in optometry, our hearts are in compassion and care. We always knew our values and our model could do more than just change optometry. So we brought retail optical and medical aesthetics (2021-2023) into the fold. And we found putting the experts — whether they are optometric doctors, medical doctors, healthcare providers, or business owners — front and center, and backing them with national brands, a network of support, diversified expertise and excellent financing was a winning formula.
