Role Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Edmonton, AB working at the Strathcona Refinery. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain job documentation and reports
- Work collaboratively with team members
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Licensed Electrician (Red Seal preferred)
- 2+ years of commercial/industrial experience
- Live plant maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to site
- Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: as per CLAC agreement
- Shift schedule: 5 on, 2 off
- Overtime opportunities
- Tools/equipment allowance
- Paid training and certification support
