Job Requirements

First Aid & CPR Level C

Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators

New VSC will be required before start day as well as a variety of onboarding training.

Job Description

We are looking for a positive, reliable and energetic individual to join our amazing nursery school.

Hours are 7:30 to 1:30 Monday to Friday with a half hour paid lunch.

We are strictly a nursery school so children are present for 4 hours in the morning only.

St. David's follows the NDSB schedule which includes March Break, Christmas Break, all statuatory holidays and summers off.

Candidates must be able to take initiative, be a team player, flexible, warm and welcoming to families and children, as well as plan a variety of age- appropriate activities using "How Does Learning Happen" document.

St. David's is an amazing co-operative, non-profit and charitable child care centre since 1974!

We have parent volunteers, plan a variety of off-site fun events and have Toddler & Preschool aged children.
