We are seeking part time Master Swim Coach to join our Aquatics Team. As a Master Swim Coach, you will provide coaching and leadership for a vital swim club program that is challenging and motivating for both competitive and recreational adult swimmers.
Responsibilities
- Direct coaching and/or leadership to swimmers in the Masters Swim Club programs of The Glencoe Club.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that are consistent with member needs and evolving trends.
- Effectively address members and staff concerns and complaints
- Go-to communicator for Masters Swim program.
- Be available for member concerns and/or questions before and/or after practice.
- Create an atmosphere where the swimmers can excel.
- Punctual and prepared for warm-up/meetings/coaching.
Qualifications
- A proven track record, with minimum of 2 years in a Coach position at a competitive swim club
- Minimum of NCCP 101(preference 201)
- Excellent communication, writing and public speaking skills
- A diplomatic personality able to foster relationships with members and employees
- Strong leadership skills.
- A team player who can be part of a team and execute exceptional service
- Excellent member service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Ability to stand on a pool deck for extended periods of time

Additional Details This is a Part Time position that reports to the Aquatics Director. The successful applicants must be available work a variety of early morning (6:30 am), daytime weekday and weekend shifts.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check including a Vulnerable Sector Check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The Club does not provide assistance with obtaining Canadian work authorization
