BrokerTeam Insurance Vaughan is seeking a motivated, client-focused Insurance Broker to join our growing team. This is a commission-only role, ideal for driven professionals looking to build and grow their own book of business with uncapped earning potential.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, advising clients on appropriate insurance solutions, and delivering exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys outside and retail sales, and values long-term relationship building over transactional selling. The position offers strong growth potential within an independent brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new client relationships through inside & outside sales efforts, including networking, referrals, and community outreach Meet with prospective clients to assess risk exposures and recommend appropriate auto, home, condo, tenant, and commercial insurance solutions Explain coverage options, limits, deductibles, and exclusions in a clear and professional manner Conduct outbound sales and follow-up activities to generate leads and convert opportunities Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining ongoing client relationships Manage sales and policy administration, including documentation, endorsements, renewals, and record keeping Support marketing initiatives and local promotional efforts to increase brand awareness and client engagement Negotiate coverage terms and pricing with clients while adhering to underwriting and company guidelines Stay current on insurance products, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and compliant advice

Qualifications & Skills

RIBO License (Level 1 ) or actively working toward licensing Previous experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly Proven ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to building long-term relationships Strong negotiation and persuasion skills while maintaining professionalism and compliance Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple client files Experience working with multiple vendors and insurance markets is a strong asset Previous experience in a project management or coordination role is beneficial, particularly for managing timelines, documentation, and multi-step client processes Knowledge of insurance marketing and lead-generation strategies is an asset Multilingual abilities are highly valued (English required, other native languages are an asset)
