Title: Sales & Administration Coordinator – School Programs
Reports to: Schools and Groups Manager
Department: Marketing & Sales
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Schools and Groups Manager, the Sales & Administration Coordinator – School Programs is responsible for the sales and administration of school programs, with a focus on snowshoe tours, tubing, and tobogganing. This individual works closely with the Schools and Groups Manager to support school bookings and ensure a positive experience for visiting groups, while helping grow Mt Seymour’s customer base.
Responsibilities:

Keep Mt Seymour’s core purpose, ambition, and values in mind: We exist to create wow experiences!

Follow up on sales leads and booking opportunities to maximize reservations; compile and maintain sales reports.

Support schools before and after their visit through phone and email communication: make reservations, generate invoices, and process transactions.

Maintain open communication with Outdoor Education, Snowplay, Guest Experience, and other departments to ensure program delivery aligns with sales commitments. Update internal shared documents to keep information accurate.

Greet schools upon arrival during peak periods and help direct them as needed; perform other related duties as needed.

Comply with all Mt Seymour policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Requirements:

Enthusiastic about winter sports and outdoor activities
-
Previous sales and customer service experience
-
Positive, can-do attitude
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Excellent interpersonal and administrative abilities
-
Good organizational and time management skills
-
Experience with children’s programs and/or working in an educational setting is an asset
-
Knowledge of the winter recreation industry is an asset
Terms of Employment:
-
Full time hourly wage: $22.50/hour

Seasonal position: Immediate start; Octoberto mid-March

Monday to Friday, 30-40 hours/week

Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass

Mt Seymour acknowledges that it operates on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
