Team members contribute to a mission centered on real-time protection and high-impact security innovation. Role Description The Marketing Assistant is a full-time, remote role based in Toronto, ON. This position supports day-to-day marketing activities, including assisting with campaign planning, preparing marketing materials, and coordinating digital and offline promotional efforts. Responsibilities include conducting basic market research, helping maintain social media and website content, and tracking key performance metrics for marketing initiatives. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging, support events and demonstrations, and respond to routine inquiries related to marketing programs. The role also involves administrative tasks such as updating contact databases, preparing reports, and supporting the marketing manager with ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Candidates should possess Market Research skills to assist in gathering, organizing, and interpreting data on customers, competitors, and industry trends. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support lead generation, promotional activities, and alignment between marketing and sales efforts. Candidates should have basic proficiency with digital tools (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms, office productivity software) and an interest in security or technology products. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a collaborative working style. Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
