The Accounting Intern is a role for someone who enjoys working with numbers and learning new things and is highly motivated for a career in the field. This hands-on position will help you build your skills and gain the knowledge that will give you a leading edge in being successful in the accounting field. The successful candidate is required to be enrolled in a for-credit undergraduate level co-op / internship program at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in the province of Nova Scotia during the Winter school term (January – April), studying Finance, Accounting or a related field (e.g. Business Administration). Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• The successful candidate is required to be enrolled in a for-credit undergraduate level co-op / internship program at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in the province of Nova Scotia during the Winter 2026 school term (January – April), studying Finance, Accounting or a related field (e.g. Business Administration).
• Agile and flexible, able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Detail-oriented, able to thrive in a result-focused, transparent organization.
• A high degree of proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Builds credibility through high responsibility, responsiveness and reliability.

Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of

• Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
• As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
• This position demands minimal physical strain, with occasional light lifting necessary on event days.
• Ability to manage timeline pressures and constraints.
• Sitting for long periods of time is to be expected on occasion.
