Canadian Treads - Administrative Assistant
Ingersoll, Ontario
Canadian Treads, an innovative leader in tire repurposing, specializes in retreading commercial truck tires through a precise, multi-step process that combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology to extend the life of the commercial truck tires. We are currently seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our production facility. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative processes, timely communication, and accurate record-keeping to support both internal teams and external customers Join us and be part of a forward-thinking company on the leading edge of sustainable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

Answer phone calls, direct them and take messages as needed

Run and distribute reports for customers as required

Assist with completion and distribution of internal reports
-
Complete general administrative forms and handle related email communication
-
Manage training videos: assign them to employees, track completion, and maintain accurate training records
-
Organize and maintain the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) binder, including all relevant paperwork
-
Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting
-
Occasionally place orders for office and plant supplies
-
Match work orders, verify information, and make updates or changes as needed
-
File physical and electronic documents in an organized and accessible manner
-
Assist Office Administrator as needed and provide coverage for vacation
-
Perform other administrative duties as required to support the efficient operation of the plant

Perform additional tasks assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Previous administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
-
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Experience with inventory systems or production reporting is an asset
