About the role
Who you are
- 3-5+ years of UX research experience in a product environment, ideally within SaaS, security, or developer-focused products
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and experience choosing the right method for the question at hand
- Experience working cross-functionally with PMs, designers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle
- Strong synthesis and storytelling skills — you know how to bring clarity to complexity and communicate impact
- Comfort working autonomously on multiple projects, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, Confluence, Jira, Heap, and common survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, GreatQuestions)
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to support team growth and learning
- Bonus: Experience conducting research with technical users or developer personas

- Our research team plays a key role in shaping products that are secure, scalable, and built on a deep understanding of user needs
- We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher (Mixed Methods) to help us uncover insights that drive thoughtful, impactful product decisions
- In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to lead research studies from scoping to synthesis
- You'll blend qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user behaviors, needs, and attitudes — and turn those into clear, actionable insights that inform both product development and strategic direction
- You’ll report to the UX Research Manager and be part of a growing, collaborative research team committed to elevating how research influences product thinking at scale
- Plan and conduct end-to-end research using both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability studies, analytics triangulation)
- Lead research initiatives that inform features, workflows, and overall product direction
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, engineers, and data scientists to define research questions, choose appropriate methods, and embed insights into decision-making
- Synthesize findings into clear, concise insights and recommendations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the team’s research processes, templates, and best practices
- Help evolve our understanding of key user personas, journeys, and pain points, especially in the context of developer experience and security products
- Participate in continuous research efforts and help maintain research ops hygiene (e.g., tagging insights, sharing findings, managing research data)
- Assist cross-functional team members in conducting self-service research, offering guidance on research execution and data analytics
