Role Description The Sales & Marketing Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for identifying and engaging potential roasters, chocolatiers, and distributors, building a strong pipeline of qualified leads, and managing relationships to drive sales growth in the Canadian market. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing and delivering product presentations, negotiating pricing and terms, and coordinating orders with the export and logistics teams. The representative will also develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns, attend industry events, and create customer-focused materials that highlight the unique qualities and origin stories of the company’s coffee and cocoa products. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to provide feedback on customer needs and support long-term partnerships is an important part of this role.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, respond to inquiries, and build trusted relationships. Proven Sales and Sales & Marketing experience, preferably in food, beverage, or agricultural commodities. Ability to deliver Training and product education to customers and partners on flavor profiles, origin, and usage. Experience with basic marketing tools and techniques, including CRM usage, outreach campaigns, and presentation development. Knowledge of or interest in specialty coffee, cocoa, or related industries is an asset. Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, and travel locally for client meetings and industry events as needed. Self-directed, organized, and goal-oriented, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
