The Opportunity:
This position reports to the Director, Finance Decision Support, and requires an individual with strong analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of analysts towards leading Finance's support of senior management primarily for the FIC distribution business, including the regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis of industry trends, the company’s business drivers, key performance indicators and financial results. As a primarily support arm for the CFO, President, and FIC Senior Executive Team, this will include leading the generation of management and Board support materials and supporting the business planning process through definition and reporting of key success measures. The individual is also responsible for co-ordination of all CEO/CFO decision support requests for the Finance group to ensure timely and accurate execution, and for managing necessary change management initiatives through the department’s FIN25 efficiency initiative.
What You Will Do:
- Financial Reporting and Analytics for Fidelity Investments Canada
- Board Reporting and Support for all Fidelity Canada legal entities
- Focus on Process and Documentation, while leading process improvement and efficiency efforts
- Assist with the development and implementation of a new Management Reporting Strategy/Framework
- Support the Fidelity Canada Business Planning, with emphasis on the Fidelity Investments Canada business unit
- Provide leadership that helps improve level of efficiency, effectiveness, professionalism and staff engagement
- Manage Performance and Self Development

What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management required.
- Leadership and Management skills.
- University degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent work experience
- Post graduate designation CPA (CA, CMA, CGA) MBA, or equivalent required
- Experience in financial services industry is an asset
