About the role
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assembler provides hands-on production support within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role completes the assembly and preparation of aerospace components and materials. This role works closely with machining, logistics, and facility operations in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities

Complete aerospace component and sub-assembly operations in accordance with work instructions, drawings, and specifications

Perform deburring, cleaning, and surface preparation of machined aerospace parts to meet quality standards
-
Cut raw material to specified dimensions following cut lists and production documentation
-
Coordinate internal material movements and receptions between departments
-
Maintain documentation based on AS9100 requirements to support production flow

Follow all health, safety, quality, and regulatory procedures, including aerospace manufacturing standards

Perform additional tasks as required to support production schedules and operational needs
Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in a assembly; aerospace or precision assembly experience is an asset

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

Ability to read technical drawings
-
Versatile, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
-
Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Willingness to work overtime as required by production demands
