Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our dynamic team in Toronto. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial sales environment, working directly with our experienced sales professionals and learning the intricacies of the cable industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing a strong foundation in inside sales and order management.
Key Responsibilities – Inside Sales
- Quotation: Support the team in quotes preparation and management of the quotation log, an important market intel input.
- Order Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into our SAP system, ensuring all details are correct and processed promptly.
- Customer Support: Proactively monitor expected backlog delivery and work closely with other departments, such as logistics and production, to ensure seamless and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities – Product Management & Sales
- Demand Planning Support: Assist the team in analyzing customer demand patterns and contributing to accurate forecasting.
- Pricing Support: review sales data and key metric to help the team addressing pricing decisions.
- Project Quotes: Co-ordinate with the Sales team and the Product Management team to help prepare major project quotes.
- E-commerce support: Provide day to day management of the B2B platform.
- Administrative Support: Assist in the creation of a sales-related documentation repository.
