The Coordinator, Projects and Events plans and coordinates activities that support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and facility operations for SFU Athletics & Recreation. The role plans and executes the successful delivery of internal and external rental group events that enhance the prominence and community profile of SFU Athletics & Recreation programs, managing all pre-, on-site, and post-event activities. The coordinator plays an integral role in coordinating external relations and community engagement initiatives, while evaluating events and projects to ensure goals and outcomes are aligned.
About the Role
The Coordinator, Projects and Events plans and coordinates activities that support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and facility operations for SFU Athletics & Recreation. - Ability to coordinate the development and planning of events and initiatives
- Supervise and and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding and usage of financial and educational assessment as metrics of success
- Ability to problem solve in an urgent manner
