Employment type: Temporary Region: Lower Mainland
Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Resident
Annual salary: $ 59,700.00 - 75,500.00
Position Highlights
This if a full time temporary opportunity for one year. As the Administrative Assistant to the Senior VP, People & Chief
Human Resources Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly. You’ll handle everything from
calendar mastery to coordinating high-level communications and events—all while maintaining top-tier confidentiality and
professionalism.
What you'll do
-
Managing the Senior VP/CHRO’s calendar and correspondence with finesse.
-
Managing internal and external correspondence, including email, for the Senior VP/CHRO, ensuring that all contacts and
items are prioritized and dealt with in a timely manner.
-
Coordinating travel, meetings, and internal communications like the bi-weekly HR News and monthly updates.
-
Supporting HR leadership meetings, quarterly community events, and annual planning sessions.
-
Collaborating with strategic advisors and executive assistants across the organization.
-
Leading onboarding and mentoring for the HR admin team.
-
Handling financial admin tasks like expense claims, purchase orders, and budget tracking.
-
Keeping intranet content, org charts, and security access up to date.
-
Developing close internal and external working relationships to successfully support the office of the Senior VP/CHRO.
-
Working in collaboration with the Senior Strategic Business Advisor and the HR Leadership team to coordinate
submissions to meetings including Executive, Board, Steering Committees.
What you bring
- Post-secondary education and 3–5 years of senior-level admin experience (or equivalent combo of training and
experience).

A knack for clear, professional communication at all levels.

Discretion, diplomacy, and a sharp eye for detail.

Confidence to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

A collaborative spirit and a drive to make things better.
