Your new role As a Project Manager/Engineer within the Vancouver Mechanical Engineering group, you’ll take the lead on mechanical projects and support clients across new builds and tenant improvement work involving HVAC and plumbing systems. You’ll collaborate closely with your team to prepare mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications, carry out site evaluations and mechanical assessments, contribute to warranty reviews and building condition assessments, and support the development of technical reports. You’ll also coordinate project activities, maintain strong communication with clients, contractors and consultants, and represent the organisation at meetings and industry events.
What you'll need to succeed You bring at least three years of experience inspecting and designing building mechanical systems, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. You have proven capability in HVAC and plumbing system design, life‑cycle analysis and cost estimation for Canadian projects. You are registered or nearing registration as a P.Eng. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a collaborative mindset and a passion for creative problem‑solving are essential. A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are also required.
