Compensation

$60,000 - $70,000

Purpose

The Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in executing and optimizing merchandising strategies within a specific product category or area of focus. This role requires a strong understanding of merchandising principles, market trends, and consumer behavior, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. The Specialist works closely with Merchandisers, Buyers, and other cross-functional teams to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction within their assigned area. This role typically requires a deeper level of expertise and responsibility than a coordinator role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive information.
  • Recommend product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with Buyers on product sourcing and selection.
  • Manage inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide performance reports.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management.
  • Experience with retail or e-commerce platforms.
