- You receive top industry wages $22.74 - $24.12/hr (rate effective April 1, 2024) and Living Allowance (LEAP) allocation of $530.04/month for a part-time employee and $883.42/month for a full-time employee (paid to the terms in the Collective Bargaining Agreement)
- You receive paid training $20.12/hr (rate effective April 1, 2024)

What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do?
You will use your strong customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by:
- efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints
- providing information professionally and with integrity
- confirming valid boarding passes
- scanning/testing baggage for prohibited items usings X-ray machines, metal detectors and other technology
- protecting restricted areas
- upholding all regulations with vigilance
What you bring to PASS:
- You are 18 or older
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
- You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record
- You have fluency in English (verbal and written). Fluency in French is considered a strong asset - preference is given to Bilingual Candidates
- You are able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements
- You have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year
- You are available to work any shift as required by the airport operation. This will include early morning, day, late evening, nights, weekends and statutory holidays
- Physical Requirements of the role include but are not limited to: Visual (including colour) and hearing acuity, ability to lift/push/pull items up to 10kg, bending, squatting, crouching, kneeling and standing/walking/sitting for periods up to 2 hours.
