The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) leads cross functional engineering and technology initiatives with a strong emphasis on hands on execution, operational rigor, and delivery excellence. This role manages the day-to-day coordination of multiple technical projects, ensuring clarity of requirements, alignment across teams, and timely execution of deliverables, and supports the systems that enable delivery.
A key function of this role is to help the company organize and balance the needs of core platform development with additional requirements by key customers, ensuring both short-term delivery and long term scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of technical projects, including platform enhancements, product features, integrations, and system upgrades.
- Coordinate and structure the organization’s needs around core development and customer-requested features, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, prioritized, and communicated across engineering and product teams.
- Facilitate the group in implementing sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep workstreams aligned and moving forward, and to understand how to implement agile practices without disrupting work delivery.
- Track risks, manage dependencies, and clear blockers with a strong sense of urgency.
- Maintain accurate, detailed program documentation, project plans, and communication artifacts.
Technical Coordination
- Support engineering and architecture teams by ensuring clarity of scope, technical feasibility, and alignment with architecture standards.
- Partner with product managers to validate priorities across core development and customer specific needs.
Process & Tooling
- Strong understanding of Jira and working within a development team to streamline configuration
- Strong project management skills
- Build and refine processes that enhance engineering throughput and delivery quality.
- Develop dashboards and reporting structures for program visibility.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Provide consistent, transparent communication to engineers, product managers, customer stakeholders, and leadership.
- Drive alignment between Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Security, and IT.
- Present complex technical updates in a clear and accessible format.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering program delivery.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects with many moving parts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a bias toward clarity and action.
- Strong Ability to manage though influence to drive positive change and execution
- Advanced Jira configuration or administration
Preferred
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and system integrations.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.
- Ability to lead long-term strategic planning and cross organizational alignment.

Pay Range
CAD $110,000.00 - CAD $150,000.00 /Yr.
