About the role

Work split: 70% on the floor – 30% in the office Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment? This job is for you! We are currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Distribution Supervisor for one of our clients specializing in furniture.

Tasks

  • Shipment management: Oversee and track multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Responsiveness and problem-solving: Anticipate and proactively respond to delays or unforeseen issues in the supply chain.
  • Scheduling and time management: Develop and maintain tight schedules while ensuring high quality standards.
  • Communication and collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Proficiency in office tools: Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis functions.
  • Bilingual in French and English: Fluent spoken and written communication to effectively liaise with international partners.
  • Database and digital platform management: Comfortable using logistics platforms and information management systems.
  • High-volume distribution experience: Capable of managing up to 10 shipping/receiving docks efficiently.
  • Communication and teamwork: Able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with team members.
  • Physical endurance: Able to handle the physical demands of warehouse work.
