Role: Data Delivery Lead / Scrum Master Hourly Rate: $95-115/hour Location: Toronto (Remote flexible)

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative Data Analytics & Data Engineering function, working with modern cloud technologies to deliver impactful data solutions across the business.

Your New Role As a Data Delivery Lead / Scrum Master, you will play a critical role supporting Data Analytics & Data Engineering squads in delivering data products, pipelines, dashboards, and platform initiatives. You’ll drive Agile delivery excellence, ensuring teams operate with clarity, predictability, and strong stakeholder alignment. Lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) ensuring high-quality execution and team alignment Remove delivery impediments across data dependencies, environments, access, QA/UAT, and cross-team coordination Manage delivery across data pipelines, dashboards, analytics products, and platform enhancements Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Governance, and Business teams to align priorities and drive outcomes Own Jira intake, backlog grooming, sprint tracking, and delivery artifacts (RAID logs, release notes, documentation) Monitor delivery health through metrics such as throughput, backlog aging, blockers, and sprint performance Coordinate releases, production support handoffs, and post-release follow-ups Provide leadership reporting including sprint health, risks, dependencies, and milestone progress

What You’ll Need to Succeed 7+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Delivery Lead within data, analytics, or technology teams Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, backlog refinement, and delivery metrics Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence for intake, tracking, and reporting Proven ability to manage complex dependencies across data engineering and analytics environments Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across technical and business teams Experience supporting delivery in data platforms / analytics environments (pipelines, dashboards, governance, UAT, production support) Strong communication skills with the ability to translate risks and blockers into clear leadership updates Nice to have: Exposure to GCP, BigQuery, Looker, Airflow/Composer, Dataform or similar data platforms Experience in retail, ecommerce, or enterprise analytics environments Scrum certification (e.g., CSM) Experience with executive-level reporting (RAID, sprint dashboards, milestone tracking)
