About the role

Role Impact

This role drives meaningful impact by advancing technology-enabled healthcare and strengthening research funding operations that support better outcomes for people living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). By managing day-to-day projects, streamlining processes, and coordinating stakeholders across digital health initiatives and major research grant programs, the position ensures efficient delivery of innovation and research investments. Its support directly enables smoother grant administration, improved collaboration, and the development of digital health solutions that can enhance patient care and accelerate scientific progress.

This is a 9-month full-time contract with possibility of extension.

Salary Range for this role is 58,0000- 62,000 per annum.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in E-health, health informatics or health administration, biomedical sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time (or 2 years of part-time) experience in project management, business analytics, or program evaluation, preferably in digital health or healthcare settings.
  • Experience supporting project coordination or administration, ideally within digital healthcare or program management environments.
  • Knowledgeable in identifying inefficiencies and supporting leadership in implementing best practices to optimize workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Solid understanding of scientific research terminology and processes.
  • Background in basic or clinical research and experience with grant management software (e.g., ProposalCentral) is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of data analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and sound decision-making capability.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and provide high-quality customer/client service.
  • Passion for improving healthcare and supporting people with chronic health conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Health

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of digital health projects aimed at improving patient care and engagement.
  • Assist in the program management around development of digital health tools like mobile apps, web applications for patients and caregivers.
  • Assist with program analysis, reporting, and documentation to monitor project progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of digital health solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices for digital health implementation.
  • Support the Manager, Digital Health to design, implement, and maintain efficient processes that support the mission’s digital health infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and security standards, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance

Research Grant

  • Serve as the primary administrator grant management database (ProposalCentral) and the research inbox managing information requests and program inquiries
  • Serve as the primary person implementing the life cycle of research grants (GIA, INN, Precision Medicine) and award competitions (g. coordinating announcements, preparatory work, managing reviewers, and coordinating the review meetings and notifications).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of progress and financial reports by grant recipients and process no-cost extension requests
  • Working with the Manager, develop and dispense feedback surveys with applicants (Survey Monkey) and reviewers to identify improvements for the following year
  • Assist the Manager with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and updating internal records/databases specific to research grants and award programs.
