Research Assistant (SRI) - Evaluative Clinical Sciences - Casual 2026-16888
About the role
The Geriatric Psychopharmacology Research Group at Sunnybrook Research Institute is seeking a research assistant to provide support to research and scientists in geriatric psychiatry for both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsor research projects as well as aid in the development, implementation, running and publication of research studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines while conducting clinical research activities
- Conduct and score tests and questionnaires related to cognition, mood and behaviour, functional status, quality of life, etc.
- Assist with patient screening, recruitment and consent
- Maintain research databases
- Collect, organize, manage and enter data into paper and electronic case report forms
- Liaise with investigators and other study staff
- Monitor and promote the quality and integrity of data
Qualifications:
The candidate will have:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. life or health sciences)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and professionally, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive data information
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a research setting
- Completed training for Good Clinical Practice
