Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)
About The Role

Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Evaluate AI-generated clinical content and health IT outputs for accuracy, safety, and alignment with real nursing practice Review and assess how AI interprets EHR workflows, clinical documentation, and nursing care processes Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe assumptions in AI responses related to nursing informatics Translate your clinical experience into structured, actionable feedback that improves AI model quality Flag issues with how AI handles patient data concepts, care coordination, and clinical decision support Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in informatics or health IT Hands-on familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing care standards Able to analyze AI outputs critically and communicate feedback clearly in writing Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on structured tasks No prior AI experience required — your clinical expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
Background in clinical informatics, health data, or systems implementation
Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation frameworks Familiarity with clinical decision support tools or population health platforms
